SALINAW · Year TwoBaby Ruth EstradaIt's a bit hard to categorize but I use gel plates to create a monotype collage. I do image transfers using my own photographs, add texture through different objects, then paint in reverse, resulting in a unique print that's imperfect with an atypical charm. Raw, textured, grungy, and painterly at the same time.

SALINAW · Year TwoCristal AntipasadoAn intricate pen-and-ink drawing on paper, showcasing a mesmerizing blend of surrealism and organic, flowing linework. The composition weaves together dense Zentangle-inspired patterns, hidden figurative elements, and hypnotic swirls that invite close inspection. While I highly enjoy working with the precision of ink on paper, my primary practice involves painting with acrylics on canvas, where I am currently preparing a new, large-scale masterpiece. To preserve its delicate details, this specific ink drawing is professionally presented in a classic wood frame behind shatter-resistant acrylic glass, accented by an elegant mat board that gives the linework breathing room.
